Our annual author event for all Year 7s is taking place on Friday 4th October, with well known and award winning Gill Lewis. The Library Ladiez are pleased to discover that many students already know Gill’s books and are excitedly awaiting her talk, Q&A and signing session in the main theatre.
Gill is in the area to take part in the Bath Children’s Literature Festival which is running all week, and she is currently promoting her new book, Moon Bear.
The Library Ladiez were sent this lovely little video also created by Gill which they hope strikes a chord with many older readers (who know that reading can become a pleasure not a chore) and will inspire the younger ones to make good friends with their librarian!
